SafetyOn launch hand injury campaign
SafetyOn began collecting health and safety incident data in 2020. From the onset hand injuries have been the most frequent body part injured; and this remains the case today. As a result, SafetyOn has carried out further analysis into the root and contributing causes of hand injuries and is in the process of launching a series of videos, as part of a hand injury video campaign, to highlight the causes of hand injuries and to encourage good practice in the workforce.
Video 1: Released at the SafetyOn Stakeholder forum in December 2022 and shows the root cause and impact of a life changing hand injury.
Video 2: Recognise, Remove, Redesign, was published in March 2023 and focuses on recognising the risk, removing the hazard, and redesigning the processes, environment and equipment.
