Heather Chambers is the Head of SHEQ at BayWa r.e. UK and Ireland covering development, construction and operational windfarms. She holds a NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety and has over 12 years' experience in the Renewable Energy Industry. Before joining BayWa r.e., Heather worked for Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy and SSE. She has been involved with SafetyOn for 4 years as part of the Technical Advisory Committee before becoming a Board member.

John heads up Vattenfall’s UK Onshore Operations team that manages a 380MW wind farm portfolio. John’s wind power industry experience spans more than 20 years and includes both onshore and offshore operations, turbine maintenance and major repairs, wind farm development and construction, turbine installation, commissioning, and wind farm decommissioning. John spent many years leading an independent service provider maintaining a varied fleet of UK onshore wind farms. John is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer. Prior to switching to Renewables he worked in the oil and gas industry.

Frank began his career as a manufacturing engineer working for several industries and culminating in a role as program manager with a US automotive electronics sub-system supplier. It was in this role that he headed up the reliability engineering laboratory and started taking a keen role in the health safety and environmental aspects of manufacturing and the provision of services. Since then, Frank has held senior HSE roles in the logistics, construction, FMCG and energy sectors, all with leading organisations. Frank has also at various times held positions on a number of industry bodies including Port Skills and Safety, the Energy Networks Association, G+ Global Offshore Wind Health and Safety Organisation and SafetyOn. Frank has also led the G+ Safe by Design program and was chair of the Energy Networks Occupational Health Group.

Adam Greenslade is Head of Onshore Operations Northern Europe for RWE Renewables.  Adam has worked in a number of industries spanning Defence, Nuclear, Energy Supply and for the last 10+ years in Renewables where he currently maintains and operates onshore renewable assets (Wind & Battery) across Ireland, UK and the Nordics.

Adam studied Economics and applied mathematics (Operational Research MSc) and enjoys applying the problem solving mindset to the industries challenges.

Anders joined Fred. Olsen Renewables in 2002 and has since managed operation of the Company’s wind farms. Anders has experience from Industrial Operation & Maintenance both as Technical Manager with Elkem and Business Manager with ABB prior to joining Fred. Olsen Renewables.

Anders holds a Master of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from NTNU (Norwegian University of Science and Technology).

Barry was recently appointed Managing Director for Onshore Renewables across the UK & Ireland at SPR. The move follows his leadership of ScottishPower’s activities in hydrogen across the UK and Ireland, as part of a global Hydrogen Division within the Iberdrola Group. His previous roles include Head of Corporate Innovation, Sustainability and Quality which led strategic activities in the decarbonisation of transport, heat and other emerging technologies, as well as corporate initiatives aligned with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This followed several years in ScottishPower Renewables where Barry led activities in marine energy and wind innovations across the sector.

Billy is the CEO of the Full Circle Group. He joined the business in 2021 to drive forward the company’s ambitious growth strategy and plans for international expansion to add to the group’s existing presence across 11 countries.

Billy has considerable commercial and technical experience in wind services, holding leadership roles in the sector since 2010. Before joining Full Circle, he spent five years serving as the Managing Director for Deutsche Windtechnik in the UK, and for six years prior to this in the same role at Enercon Service UK, managing rapid growth in both companies.

Dan is responsible for OnPath Energy’s operational portfolio of renewable generation projects and the delivery of new grid connections for projects in development. The present OnPath Energy operational portfolio totals 220MW of onshore wind generation in Yorkshire, Scotland and the North of England. His responsibility includes Health and Safety management, asset performance and management of grid risks on transmission and distribution connected projects. Dan has worked in the power industry for twenty four years in roles with Alstom, Econnect, EDF Energy Networks and Midlands Electricity. Dan is a Chartered Electrical Engineer and is a member of the Renewable UK Grid and Systems group.

Dan lives in Hexham with his family.

Darren oversees the RES asset management team, responsible for the UK&I wind, solar and battery storage portfolio, which is >2000MW. Co-ordinating all operational, financial, and operations support teams to work together to achieve our clients objectives, with a passion and focus on HSQE, ESG. operational performance and asset enhancements. A graduate of Sheffield Hallam University, Darren holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Management and has over 18 years industry experience.

James leads RenewableUK’s policy and advocacy work on onshore wind, with the aim of realising the industry’s ambition of achieving 30GW of onshore wind by 2030. James has spent much of his career looking at energy and climate across communications, public affairs and policy for trade associations and membership bodies.

John is Head of Asset Management - UK at Ventient Energy, where he is responsible for the management and performance of all operational sites and assets across the UK onshore wind portfolio.

He is passionate about health and safety, having developed an in depth understanding of the Wind Turbine Safety Rules from a practical application standpoint over 14 years in the renewables industry.   

John's renewables career started in 2008, when he joined Vestas as a Wind Turbine Technician/AT. Since then, he's held a variety of management roles at Scottish Power Renewables and Greensolver. 

Prior to joining the renewables industry, John studied for an HND in Marine Engineering in Glasgow and spent eight years as an Engineering Officer with the Merchant Navy.

Keith has a Mechanical Engineering degree from Leeds University, is a Chartered Engineer and has had a 33 year career within the global power generation and oil and gas industries in various technical, sales and leadership roles. Keith held a number of engineering and sales position with Cooper Energy Services and Rolls-Royce’s Energy Business covering gas turbines and rotating machinery before progressing into various leadership positions. Keith led the Rolls-Royce Energy division’s Service Sales in  Europe, Middle East & Africa then was promoted to Regional Director leading both operations and sales.

He took over as Global Field Operations Director leading the development of service operations in various emerging markets. Keith moved into Onshore Wind in 2008 as Service Director for Vestas in UK & Ireland. In this role he led the transformation of the business in the early years and progressed onto to develop the business through a continued period of successful expansion with 2.3GW currently under contract and ambitions for further growth in the wider service sector

Martin Maeso is the Technical Director for the Energy Institute responsible for the EI’s technical programme developing good practice across the energy sector, and for the EI’s publishing activities.

Previously Martin was the Environmental Policy Advisor for the Automobile Association, and before this worked for the Department of the Environment on Air Quality policy.  A Chartered Environmentalist, with a degree in Environmental Biology from Liverpool University

Peter is Region Leader for GE Renewables championing the onshore wind services organisation in UK, Ireland and The Netherlands, leading all commercial, operational and contractual aspects of the business.  Peter has been in the energy industry since 2007 working within GE, both in Power and in the onshore wind business respectively.

Ross is Head of Operations and Maintenance for SSE Renewables Onshore Wind operational portfolio. The present SSE Renewables operational portfolio totals over 2 GW of installed capacity with assets operating across Scotland, England, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland with plans to expand significantly over the next decade.

Ross joined SSE in 2012 and has held various engineering and operational leadership roles in SSE’s Networks and Renewables businesses. Ross studied in Dundee, holding a BSc in Civil Engineering, and spent 7 years in the construction industry prior to joining SSE.
